If you want to have rice bowls in Ximending, you can’t miss out on “Yakinikudon,” which has many stores around the city. You order your own meal from the automatic ticketing machine at the door, just like in Japan. And in 2018, they’ve released their super Insta-worthy and extravagant “Rose Beef Noodles”~ We’ve tried them for ourselves, too! The broth is very mellow but still packs in some punch, while the meat is sweet and tender, definitely worth a try!

If you prefer tea drinks, “Hua Xian Mu Lan,” has a gorgeous name and is located on the movie street in Ximen. They mainly sell fruit tea drinks made with Taiwanese tea leaves. They’ve incorporated a lot of fun Chinese culture elements, including the story of Mulan going to the army, into their decor and the cups. At the moment, Taipei only has one flagship store in Ximen. (They also have another store in Kaohsiung.)
These 5 popular Insta-worthy shops are recommended to all foodies out there. Now, you have even more choices at Ximen!
