On weekends and holidays, the Xinyi District itself is a massive stage. From the City Hall Square to Novel Hall on Shinkong Mitsukoshi’s East-side square, the city often hosts all sorts of weekend events and fairs. The Vie Show Cinema square is a popular performance venue for singers and also often hosts lots of movie promotion events. Leaving the department store battlefield, you can head over to the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park (SCCP), which often holds all sorts of different exhibitions. Here, you can escape the hustle and bustle of city life, take a deep breath, and slowly stroll through an art and culture experience.
