Located at Banqiao station, the small and quaint “Ponpie” cafe has desserts that will surprise all matcha fans. Take, for example, this “Matcha and Yuzu” dessert, the white chocolate and green colored strokes make the dessert look so elegant. And the “Matcha White Rice Ball Tart,” which needs to be warmed up before eaten, looks even more stunning; the leaf-shaped cookies are just too cute!

Zhongxiao Fuxing Station: Matcha One Zhongxiao Store

“Matcha One” Zhongxiao Store is even more famous for its all matcha desserts. Such as its pound cakes, mille-feuilles, Japanese-style roll cakes… they’ve got it all! But what’s catching our attention is this magical cup of “Matcha Tiramisu”~ Just look at that massive layer of matcha powder, they’ve really got this “covered”!

Last but not least, the dessert shop "Sweet Tooth" is also extremely popular on Instagram. Although it only has a tiny store, they provide different cakes for their customers to choose from every day. Matcha fans can try their weekend-limited “Koyamaen Matcha Mille-Feuille”. See that extravagant waterfall of matcha white chocolate sauce dripping down the side? Tsk, tsk… So tempting! (Gulp) You’ll also find the store’s signature red velvet cake on every customer’s table, plus their newest addition: blue velvet cake! Both are definitely worth trying!

There’s tons of fun places and great eats along the MRT Bannan Line. You’re most welcome to put these three matcha-themed stores that out Nius-editors highly recommend onto your travel checklist. Just pick a day and start your way on a happy matcha trip!
