When was the last time you took a stroll at a record shop? Ever since the digital era, the record industry has been greatly impacted because there’s been a significant drop in the number of people buying actual records. However, there are still those who believe CD’s are irreplaceable--White Wabbit Records, hidden in the alleyways of Shida area, is one of them. The first time you step into White Wabbit Records, you’ll get to see row upon row of indie record labels--it might be a bit overwhelming at first. That’s okay. The store staff are extremely friendly and we trust that they’ll help you find great voices you’ve never paid attention to and open a whole new musical world!

The name TJ.HANAYA is an abbreviation of their Japanese name “タンジュンハナヤ” which means a child-like innocence and purity. TJ.HANAYA wishes to transmit warmth through their flowers. They don’t emphasize extravagant designs; instead, they look for the most suitable combinations for the flowers and other natural material to convey words that we keep in our hearts. Other than selling flower arrangements, TJ.HANAYA also provides flower classes, so if you have time, you should definitely try it out!

There are tons of accessory shops in the Shida shopping area, but this “Cat Accessories” is especially awesome. They have a massive rose wall that would make you an instant hit online. Gorgeous and romantic, the wall and all the carefully selected accessories are the reason why girls flock to this store. Don’t forget to come shop around when you’re in the Shida area. As soon as you buy your accessories, you can take pretty pics and start showing them off immediately!

Originally called the NTNU 39 Creative Market located in Shida Night Market, it later moved to the open square in front of NTNU’s International Conference Center, next to the NTNU Library campus’ General Hall, and officially changed its name to “NTNU CREATEXMarket.” The new version market is even better! They have all sorts of quality handmade crafts, from desserts, accessories, flower arrangement to scented candles. You just want to bring everything home with you!
