Tired of going to the office every day? Even if you’re (supposedly) off work, there’s still so much work to be done. Guess there’s not much choice other than sucking it up and keep on working at your office.
Well, if you’re often made to work long hours, or you basically live in your office, you can now bring all your stuff, your laptop and work files to “Out of Office” to chill and work at the same time!
“Out of Office” is actually a cafe and store combined. They sell all sorts of coffee drinks, delicious meals, desserts and even coffee pots and cups that have simplistic designs.
The interior is spacious and is designed as a semi-open space “new office concept.” This is so that office workers can bring their unfinished work here, or meet up with clients and have a space to discuss business.
Everyone can also relax a bit after work is finished, or even work in a relaxing space. That’s exactly why the owner opened this “Out of Office” cafe.
This is their signature “Ice Brew Coffee.” The coffee’s aroma simply fills your nostrils and mouth. This black coffee doesn’t taste too sour and has a very sweet aftertaste.
If you’re not used to drinking straight black coffee but would still like to try their signature ice brew coffees, Nius-editors highly recommend choosing the “Thyme Cold Brew” (Japanese special ice coffee).
This artistic-sounding name is cold brew coffee combined with lemon juice and fresh thyme. The acidity from the juice and fragrance from the herb makes the black coffee easier to drink and taste extra refreshing. This is Nius-editor’s favorite drink here!
Other than coffee and all sorts of creative drinks, “Out of Office” also offers many delicious meal choices. Such as the chef recommended Western style brunch. Every ingredient in this dish has a story of its own, especially the “sausage with bone,” which is rarely seen elsewhere. Each bone is hand-stuffed into the sausage which makes it juicier and chewier than normal sausages.
Also, you also have to try the “Curry Omelet Grilled Chicken Rice.” The curry sauce is quite different here--it tastes a lot lighter, refreshing and healthy. The chicken is grilled on low temperature, so it retains the meat’s juices, making it hard to stop eating bite after bite!
Of course, there’s also lots of flavors of “Paninis” to choose from. Stuffed with tons of mozzarella cheese, oozing out along with all the other overstuffed fillings as you take a bite is simply a heavenly enjoyment in life!
After you meal, don’t forget to try the “Out of Office” dessert plate! The canale and madeleine are especially scrumptious--sweet but not too sweet, and goes exceptionally well with their cold brew coffee.
Other than that, you can also choose from an assortment of cakes. Their chiffon cakes are especially fluffy, it’s as if it simply melts in your mouth. We’re highly recommending you try these desserts! Cross my heart!
