"Sau Dou Hua,” is a one-of-a-kind dessert shop. The name “Sau” is from the Hokkien pronunciation of “hot bean curds,” but at the same time, the word “sau” in Mandarin can also be a part of the phrase “wen-ren-sau-ke,” which is used to describe writers and poets. This adds a bit of literary taste to the name: “Sau Dou Hua,” exactly what the founder, Mrs. Liu, had in mind.
“Sau Dou Hua” uses carefully selected, non-GMO, organic soybeans from Canada and traditional methods to retain the special bean fragrance in these traditional bean curd desserts.
Our popular and unique signature dish: fruits bean curd, uses fruit ices in place of the sugar water usually seen in bean curd desserts. The soft and supple bean curds match perfectly well with the fresh, sweet and fruity tastes.
All this mixing and matching is bound to strike a chord with even the pickiest taste buds.
