VVG Thinking opened in the Red Brick Area of Huashan Cultural and Creative Park, giving a new look to the century-old camphor refinery.
Based on the design concept of “Back to the Factory,” its interior space features elements of metals, gears, machines, and industrial-style artifacts. Inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci and his flying machines, “Wings of thinking” are designed to carry a wall of books, symbolizing that thinking and creativity allow people to fly.
The ground floor of the red brick building consists of an indoor garden, restaurant and exhibition space.
The second floor is a branch of VVG Something Bookstore, featuring not only books on design, art, photography, cooking, gardening, and travel, but also lifestyle goods and fashion garments. There is a personal exhibition space where customers can have an intimate conversation with the artworks.
Visitors can enjoy the unique space and a pleasant gourmet experience, be inspired by a variety of exhibitions, speeches, activities and workshops, and capture the spirit of “thinking.”
